The Dollz House Digital Loyalty Scheme Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of The Dollz House website-based loyalty scheme ("the Scheme").
1.2. The Scheme is operated by The Dollz House ("we", "us", "our"). The website, technical infrastructure, and digital loyalty system are provided and maintained by Vertex Comms and Media Solutions Limited ("the Provider").
1.3. By creating a digital loyalty account and participating in the Scheme, you ("the Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Earning Points
2.1. Customers earn 1 point for every £1 spent on eligible products and services at The Dollz House.
2.2. Points are awarded based on the final total paid after any discounts have been applied.
2.3. Points cannot be earned on the purchase of digital gift cards or vouchers, though they can be earned when gift cards are redeemed.
2.4. To earn points, you must be logged into your registered loyalty account on our website at the time of purchase, or provide your digital account details if checking out in person. Points cannot be added retrospectively for past transactions made as a guest or without your account details.
3. Redeeming Points
3.1. Accumulated points can be redeemed against future purchases of eligible products and services at The Dollz House.
3.2. Points can be applied to your basket at checkout via your website account, either on your next visit or saved up until you have a sufficient balance.
3.3. Points have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred to another individual or digital account.
4. Limitation of Liability and Errors
4.1. System Errors: The Scheme relies on web hosting and software provided by Vertex Comms and Media Solutions Limited. Neither The Dollz House nor Vertex Comms and Media Solutions Limited shall be liable for any website downtime, server outages, technical malfunctions, or communication failures that result in the Scheme being temporarily unavailable.
4.2. Administrative Mistakes: Neither The Dollz House nor Vertex Comms and Media Solutions Limited accepts liability for any errors, omissions, or miscalculations in the awarding or deducting of loyalty points.
4.3. Right to Correct: We reserve the right to audit accounts and correct any points balance that has been incorrectly allocated due to human error, system glitches, or software faults, without prior notice.
4.4. General Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither The Dollz House nor Vertex Comms and Media Solutions Limited shall be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or expense arising from the use or inability to use the Scheme. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as statutory consumer rights).
5. Account Security and Access
5.1. As this is a website-based scheme, you are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and password.
5.2. The Dollz House is not responsible for any points redeemed or lost due to unauthorized access to your account resulting from a failure to keep your login credentials secure.
5.3. If you suspect your digital account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately so we can secure the account.
6. Cancellation and Modification
6.1. The Dollz House reserves the right to alter, withdraw, or cancel the Scheme, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
6.2. We will provide reasonable notice of any significant changes via the website or our official email communication channels.
6.3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a Customer's digital loyalty account if we suspect fraudulent activity, breach of these terms, or misuse of the website or Scheme.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
7.1. Data Roles: For the purposes of UK data protection legislation (including the UK GDPR), The Dollz House acts as the Data Controller for the personal information collected when you register for the Scheme. Vertex Comms and Media Solutions Limited acts as the Data Processor, securely hosting and managing this website data on our behalf.
7.2. Data Collection: To create your digital loyalty account, we collect and store personal details provided by you, such as your name, email address, contact information, and an ongoing digital record of your transaction history and points balance.
7.3. Use of Information: Your personal data will be used strictly for the purpose of operating the website loyalty Scheme, applying your points, processing rewards, and communicating administrative updates regarding your account. We will only use your data for marketing purposes if you have provided explicit consent during registration or via your account settings.
7.4. Data Security and Third Parties: Both The Dollz House and Vertex Comms and Media Solutions Limited employ appropriate technical and organizational measures to keep your digital data secure. We will never sell, lease, or distribute your personal information to unauthorized third parties.
7.5. Your Rights: Under data protection law, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or request the deletion of your account. Please note that requesting data deletion will result in the permanent closure of your digital loyalty account and the forfeiture of any accumulated points.
